Discover K MANGA: Kodansha’s New Mobile Manga App
A New Era for Manga Readers
Kodansha has officially unveiled its latest mobile manga application, K MANGA, offering an extensive library of nearly 400 titles for enthusiasts to explore. Among these, 61 titles are available as simulpubs, allowing readers to enjoy the latest chapters simultaneously with their release in Japan.
How the Ticket System Works
Accessing Chapters Made Easy
K MANGA employs a unique ticket and points system that allows users to access chapters of their favorite manga. Here’s how it works:
-
Ticket System: Each ticket grants you access to one chapter; however, it’s important to note that you are essentially “renting” this chapter.
-
Types of Tickets:
- Normal Tickets: These are provided daily (every 23 hours) and can be used to read one chapter from any series.
- Premium Tickets: Available during special events, these tickets allow unlimited reading from your chosen series within a limited timeframe. Once this period expires, the premium ticket becomes invalid unless another is purchased.
All original K-MANGA series can be accessed using tickets, while other chapters will require points for reading.
Earning Points in K MANGA
Multiple Ways to Accumulate Points
Users can earn points through various activities within the app:
- Point Campaigns: Participate in ongoing campaigns where you can earn up to 7 points daily by reading specific series.
- Video Rewards: Watch short promotional videos that unlock a point box containing up to 50 points.
- Purchasing Points: For those who prefer immediate access, users can buy points at a rate of $1 for every 100 points.
Additionally, there will be regular promotions offering free point giveaways.
